Kreab and Gavin Anderson merge

NEW YORK: Kreab Group and Gavin Anderson & Company have merged to become Kreab & Gavin Anderson, a firm specializing in financial, corporate, and public affairs communications. Kreab Gavin Anderson will have more than 350 professionals working with more than 500 clients in 25 countries, including developing markets in Asia, India, and the Middle East. Magnora AB and Omnicom Group are the parent companies and majority owners of Kreab and Gavin Anderson respectively. Kreab was founded in Stockholm, and maintained a large presence there, but opened a Washington, DC, office in December 2007, as well as a number around the globe. Gavin Anderson was founded in New York, but includes a global network of offices. Peje Emilsson, chairman of Magnora and Kreab, will serve as executive chairman of Kreab Gavin Anderson; Richard Constant, chairman and CEO of Gavin Anderson will be president and CEO of the new firm.
