Public affairs wine campaign gets underway in New Jersey

WALLA WALLA, WA: American Winery, an online wine retailer based in Walla Walla, WA, launched a public affairs campaign in early January to educate consumers in New Jersey about a bill that would allow wine to be delivered directly to consumers in New Jersey. Capital Public Affairs is providing support; the Princeton, NJ-based firm was hired in December 2008, said Stephen Reid, SVP for Capital Public Affairs. The effort includes the launch of uncorknj.com, which provides information about the bill and encourages consumers to write to legislators and send site links to friends and family. It is also reaching out to local and regional reporters who cover state legislation.
