Florida's TRDA puts out RFP

MELBOURNE, FL: Florida's Technology Research and Development Authority (TRDA), an independent state organization that funds technology programs for education and economic development, issued an RFP on February 10. Griffin Integrated Marketing, the incumbent firm which is based in Seabrook, TX, was invited to pitch, said David Kershaw, deputy director for the Melbourne, FL-based tech organization. The proposal deadline is March 5, with work expected to start April 6. TRDA hopes to increase awareness of the organization, enhance its image, improve communications with stakeholders, and increase event attendance, according to the RFP. TRDA is required to bid the account every three years, because the budget is more than $25,000, said Kershaw. It has worked with Griffin for the last three years.
