Ketchum centralizes its digital practice, hires Kopp

NEW YORK: Ketchum has centralized its digital services under Ketchum Digital, and hired Jonathan Kopp, former partner at SS&K, to lead it. As global director of digital, he will work to raise awareness of Ketchum Digital.

NEW YORK: Ketchum has centralized its digital services under Ketchum Digital, and hired Jonathan Kopp, former partner at SS&K, to lead it. As global director of digital, he will work to raise awareness of Ketchum Digital.

“Ketchum's digital practice has grown organically over the years,” Kopp said. “But what they would like to do now is… unify all those functions under one offering. Until now, the people who specialize in digital aspects of PR have been scattered across Ketchum's other offerings and account teams.”

Kopp reports to senior partner Barri Rafferty, who oversees Ketchum digital's worldwide business unit.

While at SS&K, one of Kopp's projects was working as a member of Obama for America's National Media Team, using an integrated mix of digital and traditional communications to connect with younger voters.
