InterContinental Hotels undergoing global review

ATLANTA: InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG), which owns brands including Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn, is undergoing a global review of its marketing and communications relationships. An internal procurement team has been formed to look for ways to establish greater global efficiencies and reduce suppliers across the marketing and communications sector, according to Carolyn Hergert, director of corporate communications at IHG. The company said it has not issued an RFP and is still working with US AOR Weber Shandwick. The agency declined to comment.
