Siemens hires Whaley as VP of comms, marketing

NEW YORK: Siemens named James Whaley, president of the Siemens Foundation, its VP of communications and marketing, effective March 16. Whaley, who reports to George Nolen, president and CEO, will retain his position with the foundation and is tasked with developing a communications strategy for Siemens in the US. Jack Bergen and Gregg Ward had left the company in October 2008.
