Schwartz realigns executive management

WALTHAM, MA: Schwartz Communications has promoted Bryan Scanlon, previously EVP and GM of the agency’s San Francisco office, to president. Cofounder Steve Schwartz will relinquish his president title but remains as the CEO. Simultaneously, the Massachusetts-based firm promoted Ari Milstein to COO. He also retains his previous position of CFO. Scanlon and Milstein report to Schwartz. Paula Mae Schwartz, formerly COO, will move to focusing on HR where she takes on the title of "chief people officer." The married pair - Steve and Paula Mae - will now spend more time on their film company, Chockstone Pictures, where they are both principals, according to an agency statement.
