WASHINGTON: The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) issued two presolitications for PR work on March 26, according to a federal database. NHTSA is lookingfor a firm to develop an estimated a five-year project that focuses on using social marketing and Hispanic outreach to communicate traffic safety with both English and Spanish speaking audiences. The solicitation is expected to be released by May 2009. The second presolitication states that the NHTSA plans to hire a firm to support the Office of Communications and Consumer Information's vehicle safety programs and campaigns. The solicitation is expected to be posted on April 20; the five-year contract is estimated to start on August 1.
