The firm will offer PR, advertising, and interactive services for its clients, many of which are from the healthcare, technology, financial services, and public affairs sectors, said Patrick Dorton, a principal at Rational 360. Don Marshall, also a principal, will co-lead the PR team with Dorton.
“There's a real trend in Washington toward integrated firms,” said Dorton. “There's no question that companies and organizations that are trying to influence the policy landscape have moved past traditional lobbying.”
The Washington-based firm also has offices with integrated teams in Atlanta and Boston with a total headcount of 26 employees, 15 of which are PR professionals. No jobs were lost in the merger, noted Dorton.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
