Charlotte Russe launched what will most likely be a common feature on most brands' e-commerce sites in the very near future - an interactive shopping tool. The site now features ShopTogether, DecisionStep's software application that allows a shopper to send a friend a link to a specific product or an invitation to shop through Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, e-mail, or IM. Once they accept the invitation, the friends can virtually shop together. While there are a handful of shopping sites that feature social networks, interactive tools, and editorial content - ShopStyle is a good example - individual fashion brands seem slow to the trend. It'll be interesting to see how quickly, and what kinds of brands, jump on the bandwagon.
