WASHINGTON: The Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region renewed a two-year PR contract with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, according to the US Department of Justice Web site.
Efforts will focus on promoting Hong Kong to the business community in the US, specifically the trade, investor, travel, and information technology sectors. The firm is also responsible for positioning Hong Kong as Asia's world city. Services include strategic counsel, coalition building, media briefings and relations, message development, and crisis communications.
Work on the account, which is lead by Rory Davenport, SVP for Ogilvy, began April 1 and ends in March 2011. Budget is set at $750,000.
