UK firm Portland opens a New York office

NEW YORK: Portland, a London-based strategic communications firm, opened an office in New York in July.

NEW YORK: Portland, a London-based strategic communications firm, opened an office in New York in July. Tim Allan, a former communications adviser for Tony Blair, was named MD of the office. The firm listed its London clients as Google, Apple, Facebook, Coca-Cola, and McDonald's. The New York office, which has around six employees, will be used to better serve current clients, as well as generate new business for the firm and in New York. Portland also opened an office in Nairobi.
