WASHINGTON: The US Department of State posted a presolicitation for a PR firm that has social media expertise and international reach to provide support for the agency's Democracy Video Challenge, according to the Federal Business Opportunities Web site.

WASHINGTON: The US Department of State posted a presolicitation for a PR firm, which has social media expertise and international reach, to provide support for the agency's Democracy Video Challenge, according to the Federal Business Opportunities Web site.

Responsibilities would include message development, development of press materials, media relations, social media, and measurement. The base period is scheduled to begin August 30 and end September 30, 2010, with four option periods. The goal of the PR program is to increase participation and awareness of the Democracy Video Challenge.

Responses are due August 25.
