SACRAMENTO: Edelman is expanding its online advocacy practice in Northern California with two personnel changes. The agency has hired Lisa Page, who was most recently chief deputy press secretary and deputy communications director for Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, as a VP. In that role, Page also served as the governor's spokesperson on issues related to water, public safety, health care, energy, and the environment. Prior to joining the communications' team for his 2006 campaign, Page worked on the PR agency side, including with Ogilvy PR where she was an AE. She will join Edelman on September 14.

In addition, the agency has relocated Mary Corcoran, a digital public affairs strategist based in Washington, DC, to its Sacramento office where she will lead Edelman Digital's team in Northern California. Page will work with her to build the practice.
