Microsoft offered "sincere apologies" via Twitter for editing the racial makeup of a photograph. For those who haven't heard yet, the ad when featured on the company's US Web site showed three people -- one white, one black, and one Asian -- in a board room. But the same photo was used on the company's Polish site, only the black man's face had been replaced by a white man's.
Microsoft responded with the tweeted-apology on the same day the story appeared on Gawker.
