Emanuel Ungaro hired Lindsay Lohan
as an "artistic adviser," in part to generate buzz around a brand stuck in the shadows of the Jason Wus and Alexander Wangs of our time. As part of her multi-year contract, "She'll do trunk shows, make appearances, and 'be where the activities of the brand are,' according to [Ungaro CEO Mounir] Moufarrige," reports WWD
The announcement follows the departure
of former Ungaro creative director Esteban Cortazar, who might not have been pleased with the Lohan appointment, speculate some in the beauty industry
