Ogilvy Digital Labs debuted last week in the agency's recently-opened New York headquarters with an event called "The Outernet." Showcasing digital out-of-home and point-of-sale technologies, and featuring presentations and panel discussions about reaching customers in new ways, the event is one of many, as Ogilvy Digital Labs plans to host an information event every month.
"We are using our Digital Lab as a hotbed of innovation for the development of applications and campaigns for our clients," said Maria Mandel, executive director of digital innovation and Digital Lab, New York, in a statement. "We have some interesting new campaigns in development and will continue to promote what we discover to be breakthrough opportunities for our clients and their brands in the growing digital space."
Ogilvy also has Digital Lab hubs in Singapore, Beijing, London, and Sao Paulo.
