WPP merges BKSH and Timmons & Co.

WASHINGTON: WPP firms BKSH & Associates and Timmons & Co. merged today to form Prime Policy Group, which will continue to offer bipartisan government relations work. Prime will operate as a subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller.

WASHINGTON: WPP firms BKSH & Associates and Timmons & Co. merged today to form Prime Policy Group, which will continue to offer bipartisan government relations work. Prime will operate as a subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller.

BKSH founder Charlie Black will become chairman of the new firm, while BKSH's recent president and CEO, R. Scott Pastrick, will take the same title at Prime. Timmons & Co's top executive for the last nine years, Larry Harlow, now takes the vice chairman post at Prime, and the agency's chairman, Marty Paone, transitions to Prime as EVP. The combined lobbying firms' new Web site is www.prime-policy.com.
