WASHINGTON: WPP firms BKSH & Associates and Timmons & Co. merged today to form Prime Policy Group, which will continue to offer bipartisan government relations work. Prime will operate as a subsidiary of Burson-Marsteller.
BKSH founder Charlie Black will become chairman of the new firm, while BKSH's recent president and CEO, R. Scott Pastrick, will take the same title at Prime. Timmons & Co's top executive for the last nine years, Larry Harlow, now takes the vice chairman post at Prime, and the agency's chairman, Marty Paone, transitions to Prime as EVP.
