Just days after Conde Nast closed four of its glossy brands, Procter & Gamble is planning the nationwide launch of its health and beauty magazine, Rouge. The quarterly magazine has been tested in several markets, but will now reach an expected 11 million households by October 2010, reports AdWeek. The issues include coupons for P&G products, as well content that features its brands.

With so many independent magazines closing, is this the best way for brands to get their message to consumers? Any thoughts?
