NPR became the latest media organization to release guidelines for its employees on how to use - and not use - social media. Journalists, of course, have to take certain cautions in personal postings in order to appear free of bias. The NPR rules, though, apply to the media outlet's newsroom and communications staff alike.
The guidelines are taking a lot less flack than earlier ones by say The Washington Post. Because we're all getting more used to these or because they don't appear to be as restrictive?
