NEW YORK: Nearly 70% of physicians and 53% of nurses believe that their opinions have not been considered in the healthcare reform debate and about 90% of both groups believe that the news coverage has focused on the politics of the debate, not the policy, according to a study conducted by Chandler Chicco Companies.
The study, held from September 17 to October 2, also noted that 43% of physicians and 54% of nurses feel that they do not understand the policy changes at stake because they have not received enough information.
