SAN FRANCISCO: Lewis PR has acquired European firm, Leads United. Leads is headquartered in Antwerp, Belguim, where it specializes in internal and crisis communications, and media relations for a number of tech companies, including IBM, eBay, Symantec, and Samsung. Morgan McLintic, EVP, US and APAC for Lewis, said the acquisition was attractive because of its non-tech clients as well and geography. It was an all-cash deal.
Leads has 16 employees, which now become part of Lewis PR, though it retains its brand name at this time. It will continue to be run by Dian Wahlen, founding director, from Antwerp. Lewis PR already has a number of European offices including a small Antwerp group, as well as in London, Stockholm, Prague, Frankfurt, and Lisbin, along with various locations in the US and APAC. This is its 39 location.
