Dunn to step down from White House

Anita Dunn, interim communications director at the White House, is stepping down at the end of November and Dan Pfeiffer, deputy communications director, will replace her, says The Washington Post.

Anita Dunn, interim communications director at the White House, is stepping down at the end of November and Dan Pfeiffer, deputy communications director, will replace her, says The Washington Post.

Dunn was considered a replacement for Ellen Moran, who left the White House in April to take a position as chief of staff for Commerce Secretary Gary Locke. Pfeiffer was the communications director for President Barack Obama's presidential campaign.
