SAN FRANCISCO: MS&L recently made a number of personnel changes in its California operations as the agency undergoes a restructuring put into effect by its parent company, Publicis Groupe. Vickie Fite was promoted to MD of the San Francisco and Los Angeles offices (previously she was MD of Los Angeles). Megan Jordan, SVP, was promoted to assistant MD in Los Angeles. She is also regional director for the consumer practice, and cofounder of the agency's ECO practice. In San Francisco, Kelly McKenna, VP in the healthcare practice, is now deputy MD of that office. The promotions follow the September departure of the previous San Francisco MD, Bill Orr.
The agency also made two new hires: David Libby, who previously ran his own firm, joined as SVP and Western regional director of digital communications. He is part of the Microsoft Online Services Social Media and Blogging Advisory Board, as well as the Ethics Committee Chair of the Social Media Club of San Francisco and Silicon Valley. Brian Baker has joined MS&L as a VP from Visa where he worked on the corporate communications team. Based in San Francisco, he will focus on corporate reputation and environmental communications.
