Ford taps 'WSJ' reporter for corporate news team

DEARBORN, MI: Ford hired John Stoll as manager of global corporate news, overseeing financial news communications.

DEARBORN, MI: Ford hired John Stoll as manager of global corporate news, overseeing financial news communications. Stoll, who formerly covered competitor General Motors for the Wall Street Journal, will work to improve Ford's reputation among multiple audiences, help build its purchase consideration, and expand its communications expertise, according to Ray Day, VP of commmunications at the automaker. Reporting to Stoll are Scott Monty, manager of global digital and multimedia communications; Marcey Evans, manager of manufacturing, labor, and legal affairs; Kelli Felker, manager of broadcast news; and Todd Nissen, manager of purchasing and corporate news.

The news was leaked earlier today on a blog.
