National health agency to hire firm for breast cancer communications

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences issued a sources sought notification for a firm to develop key messages about breast cancer research findings, according to a filing posted to the Federal Business Opportunities Web site.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, NC: The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences issued a sources sought notification for a firm to develop key messages about breast cancer research findings, according to a filing posted to the Federal Business Opportunities Web site.

Responsibilities include the identification of risk communication experts, development of key messages and communications toolkits, and the creation of toolkits to support local breast cancer organizations. The effort will be funded by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The official solicitation is slated to post in February and the expected start date for the two-year contract is September 30.
