CARSON CITY, NV: The state of Nevada selected Weber Shandwick as the AOR for the state's marketing and outreach campaign regarding the 2010 Census, according to a state filing. The state office announced the $866,055 contract in December 2009. The contract ends in April 2010.
The firm was awarded the PR and partnerships component of the national US Census Bureau's national communications campaign in September 2007. Weber Shandwick said that different teams are working on the programs and is subcontracting some of the work to Sawyer Miller Advertising, Axis Agency, and The Ferraro Group.
