Business Software Alliance taps Reid as VP

WASHINGTON: The Business Software Alliance (BSA) hired Matt Reid, former EVP at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, as VP of communications, starting January 4.

WASHINGTON: The Business Software Alliance (BSA) hired Matt Reid, former EVP at Waggener Edstrom Worldwide, as VP of communications, starting January 4. Reid worked at the agency for six years, founding and leading the agency's public affairs and social innovation practices.

His responsibilities at the BSA include worldwide public affairs, media relations, digital, and internal communications. He reports to Robert Holleyman, president and CEO of the Business Software Alliance. Reid replaces Dale Curtis, who now works with the trade group as a consultant.

Torod Neptune, SVP and GM, will continue to lead the public affairs practice and Marianne Allison, EVP and chief innovation officer, is now leading the social innovation practice at WE.
