Sharing the results you have achieved is a critical piece of the interview process. There are a variety of ways you can do this. One way is by sharing a portfolio. An in-person interview provides the opportunity to show your portfolio of print and online media placements via printouts and screenshots. Another – and potentially more meaningful way – is to reference placements throughout the interview process, focusing and highlighting the back story behind the media placements.

I'm interested in hearing details that show what was accomplished to make strategic media placements, including the reasoning behind targeting specific print and/or digital media. It is not just the quantity of placements, but the quality that resonates. Print and online media placements are usually just one important component of a successful campaign; we are looking for the entire story behind the success.

If the hiring manager doesn't specifically ask for details, you can craft your answer to show all the details. Most companies want to know that if they hire you, you will better their company and make their clients happy. Therefore, during the interview process focus on telling the entire story of your success to showcase your achievements and skills.
