WASHINGTON: Chris Foster, chair of the US healthcare practice at Burson-Marsteller, confirmed that he is leaving the firm for a position with consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton.
The company named Foster a principal and market leader for healthcare in its strategic communications practice, effective February 15.
A spokesperson for Burson-Marsteller said that while the firm looks to replace Foster, the US healthcare practice will be led by a senior leadership council and US CEO Pat Ford. The council includes MDs Reyn Archer, Lisa Davidson, Debra Kieke, and Hampton Shaddock.
The WeissComm Group confirmed last week that Gail Cohen, former chair of the global healthcare practice at Burson-Marsteller, would be joining the firm, effective February 1.
