The business community and the Obama administration launched campaigns this week to address and define the implications of healthcare reform for both sides.

The Obama administration announced the launch of the "Health Reform by the Numbers" campaign. The online campaign is providing a daily statistic relating to healthcare on the White House Web site and Facebook and Twitter pages. President Barack Obama also traveled to Missouri and Pennsylvania to rally for passage of a healthcare bill.

A coalition of business organizations, led by the Chamber of Commerce, launched a $1 million per day advertising campaign, targeting 17 states. Industries represented in the coalition include retail, construction, and manufacturing. The coalition is called Employers for a Health Economy.

The Wall Street Journal writes:

... both backers and opponents of the initiative sought to target wavering lawmakers in what is expected to be the final phase of the legislative process.
