SAN FRANCISCO: Citrix Online, a division of Citrix Systems that specializes in remote-connectivity tools, has selected Atomic PR following a global review.

Laura McCormick, VP of strategic communications at Citrix Online, said Atomic will focus on corporate thought leadership and product communications to support the company's offerings, including GoToMeeting, GoToWebinar, GoToAssist, GoToTraining, GoToManage, and GoView. Incumbent agency, Access Communications confirmed it participated in the pitch, but declined further comment.

“They have been a valued partner since being tapped in 2008,” McCormick said via e-mail. Atomic was selected for its corporate thought leadership initiatives, media relations, events, and social media engagement.

She noted, Atomic was selected for its "creativity and strategic approach to analytics."

Last fall, the company also conducted a search in Europe and hired Hotwire in France and Germany, she noted. Earlier this year, they selected Whiteoaks Consultancy to work on the business in the UK.

“With the increasing demand for online access, collaboration, and conferencing services among businesses of all sizes, we felt it was important to take a fresh look at our strategic communications programs to ensure we are well-positioned for continued market leadership in North America and Europe,” McCormick explained.

Atomic leadership was not immediately available for comment.
