Dittus launches new public affairs firm

WASHINGTON: Gloria Dittus opened Story Partners, a public affairs firm, in January. Known for founding Dittus Communications (now FD Dittus) and Direct Impact, Dittus left her position as president and CEO of FD Dittus in May 2009.

WASHINGTON: Gloria Dittus opened Story Partners, a public affairs firm, in January. Known for founding Dittus Communications (now FD Dittus) and Direct Impact, Dittus left her position as president and CEO of FD Dittus in May 2009.

Story Partners, which has offices in New Orleans and Birmingham, AL, has 11 on staff, including Amos Snead, Shelton Jones, Deborah Sauri, and Collier Craft, who all worked with Dittus at FD Dittus. The firm is currently working with clients in the energy, technology policy, health, and financial services industries.

Dittus started Dittus Communications, which worked with clients like Tyco, SAP, and PhRMA, before it was acquired by Financial Dynamics in December 2005. She co-founded Direct Impact in 1988, which was sold to Burson-Marsteller in 1999.
