SACRAMENTO, CA: The State of California is in the midst of an RFP for communications outreach to multicultural consumers on behalf of the Department of Consumer Affairs' Bureau of Automotive Repair. The one-year contract, with option to renew, is worth $4 million, though most of the funds are designated for advertising. Other activities include social marketing, PR, and partnership development.
The chosen agency will provide communications support for several of the bureau's programs, including the Smog Check program, general auto repair consumer protection mission, and the existing DriveHealthy campaign. The state plans to award the contract by May 18.
