Kodak CMO Jeffrey Hayzlett is leaving the company as of May 28 to "pursue personal projects," the company announced today.

Kodak CMO Jeffrey Hayzlett is leaving the company as of May 28 to "pursue personal projects," the company announced today. Hayzlett, who has been CMO for four years, will help the company through the transition through August.

"I love this company, I love this brand, and I am proud of what we have accomplished," Hayzlett said in the official company statement. "Kodak is definitely on the right track, and the time is now right for me to devote my full energy to a variety of personal projects."

On his Twitter account, Hayzlett, who recently released a book, described his upcoming personal projects as books, TV, and speeches. After Hayzlett leaves, the company plans to reposition the role and reorganize the office of the CMO.
