Everyone in the PR industry has the sense that communications is firmly on the front foot at the moment, taking its place at the top table and exploiting its unique comfort with social and earned media to blaze a trail with clients of all types.
It's much more than a sense, however, in that it is backed up by the hard facts and case studies that appear in PRWeek monthly in print and weekly and daily online.
To this end, we have teamed up with WPP PR agency Hill & Knowlton to carry out a survey of corporate communicators to really drill down into what is driving top-level communications. The PRWeek Corporate Communication Survey is designed to measure the health of the PR and communications sector and assess its growing role in modern business.
But we need you, our readers and users - the senior client communications and marketing executives leading this drive to put comms on the front foot - to help us back up this sense with hard data. And, if you are in the agency sector, please encourage your clients to take the survey.
The survey should take less than 15 minutes to complete, so please do let us know what you think.
The results will be published in the October print issue of PRWeek and will provide a unique insight into the current state of the industry and what it needs to do to retain that coveted place at the top table.
