Fenton to stop representing pro-Palestinian group

Fenton Communications, which specializes in PR for non-profits, reportedly said it will not renew its contract with Fakhoora, a pro-Palestinian group that helped organize the flotilla that aimed to breach Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip.

Fenton Communications, which specializes in PR for non-profits, reportedly said it will not renew its contract with Fakhoora, a pro-Palestinian group that helped organize the flotilla that aimed to breach Israel's blockade of the Gaza Strip.

The announcement followed The Israel Project's June 23 news release publicizing Fenton's representation of Fakhoora. The release noted Fakhoora's role in helping to organize the flotilla of six aid ships; an Israeli raid on one of the ships resulted in nine deaths.

Fenton distributed materials on the Fakhoora website, including a “flotilla action alert,” and helped spread the organization's message through Facebook.

Fenton representatives were unavailable for comment.
