The company reported net income of $2.9 billion for the quarter ending June 26 and a quarterly revenue of $10.8 billion— 34% up year on year.

Intel introduced several new server and laptop chips during the quarter, including chips designed for smartphones and tablets, and Core chips for ultrathin laptops.

Estimated revenue for the third quarter is approximately $11.6 billion—give or take $400 million.
