NEW YORK: PMK*BNC brought on Marian Koltai-Levine, president of Zipline Entertainment, to lead a new film department within the agency. PMK*BNC chairman and CEO Cindi Berger described the move not as an acquisition, but "bringing over Marian and all of her people." Zipline, which focuses on marketing, PR, and distribution for television and film, will also bring over all its clients, including the movie The Kids are All Right, the New Orleans documentary The Big Uneasy, The Film Society of Lincoln Center, and the cable network Epix, among others. Berger said there were no client conflicts.
Six other Zipline staffers joined the agency in New York, as did Rachel Aberly, a former PMK employee who is re-joining the now-merged firm to handle the film division in Los Angeles.
