Burson boosts brand marketing with Jorgensen hire

LOS ANGELES: Burson-Marsteller hired Carline Jorgensen as MD in its US brand marketing practice.

LOS ANGELES: Burson-Marsteller hired Carline Jorgensen as MD in its US brand marketing practice.

Most recently, Jorgensen was founder and president of Los Angeles-based Kaplan Communications, where she oversaw brand marketing and media relations for brands including American Express, HBO, and Icon Shoes.

At Burson, she will report to Sam Lucas, chair of the practice, and Rhonda Brauer, market leader for LA. She is working on crisis communications for an undisclosed healthcare client, consumer marketing for Sterling Jewelers, and corporate communications for Solera Holdings, which recently announced a reorganization.

The agency also recently appointed Jason Teitler MD of its US brand marketing practice, PRWeek reported last week. He is based in New York.
