CHICAGO: Public relations software and tools company Cision enhanced its on-demand College and University Program and made it free to students.

US and Canadian university students studying public relations will get free access to CisionPoint for Colleges and Universities, an on-demand software platform already being used in university communications departments.

The software includes tutorials on planning PR campaigns based on in-depth research, connecting with important audiences, using social media, monitoring, and analysis.

Other enhancements include teaching aids and suggested lessons, tip sheets and white papers, and CisionPoint Accreditation after a student completes the curriculum.
