The United Nations is hitting up the star power of movie actress Angelina Jolie to raise money for the victims of the recent Pakistan floods.

At one point, one-fifth of Pakistan was under water from the floods that hit last month. Over a thousand people have died, and threat of disease looms for millions more.

New York-based WestGlen Communications has distributed a public service announcement to about 650 TV stations across the US featuring Jolie for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

The United Nations says it needs about $120 million for the relief effort. In the PSA Jolie is asking viewers to donate $10 via text, or by visiting the United Nations refugee's website.
