Edelman acquires Brazil marketing firm

NEW YORK: Edelman acquired Brazilian brand marketing firm Significa. Joined with Edelman's current resources in Brazil, the firm, called Edelman Significa Group Brazil, will be comprised of more than 100 employees in two offices.

NEW YORK: Edelman acquired Brazilian brand marketing firm Significa. Joined with Edelman's current resources in Brazil, the firm, called Edelman Significa Group Brazil, will be comprised of more than 100 employees in two offices. The firm will offer corporate, consumer, healthcare, technology, digital, public affairs, CSR, and integrated brand communications services.

Significa clients include Natura, Itaú, Votorantim, Pão de Açúcar, Gol, Claro, EDP, Fiat, Petrobras, and Whirlpool. Edelman's clients in Brazil include Air France, Boeing, Iberostar, GE, and Samsung.  

Yacoff Sarkovas, CEO of Significa, will become CEO of Edelman Significa, reporting to Gail Becker, chair of Edelman Canada and Latin America.
