SEATTLE: Weber Shandwick promoted Tim Fry and Michelle Maggs and hired Bee Wuethrich in its Seattle office, as the agency sees growth in the social innovation space. Fry, previously EVP, will now serve as GM of the office, while SVP Maggs was promoted to management supervisor.

Previously VP of global health and science with Burness Communications, Wuethrich joins Weber as SVP and head of the agency's social impact practice, which drives advocacy programs for philanthropic organizations. The Seattle office for Weber Shandwick recently moved to a new location, and the agency is continuing to hire there.

In addition to its recent Motorola win, Weber Shandwick signed with several new clients in the social innovation space within the past two months, including the Consortium of Universities for Global Health; Meridian Institute's Initiative on Food and Agriculture Policy; and Mashable's Social Good Summit at United Nations Week.
