Goldman Sachs launched an advertising campaign this week, focusing on the good things the embattled investment bank is doing, including clean energy and business education projects. The message of the ads, which are running in The Wall Street Journal, "seems to be an attempt to show that Goldman's investment banking activities make positive contributions to businesses, communities, the environment and jobs growth," CNBC reported.

The company told PRWeek that there is no additional PR component to the campaign, and it is just the advertisements.
