WASHINGTON: The Embassy of the Republic of Korea hired Edelman and Glover Park Group to support communications, according to federal filings.
Edelman was hired to educate influencers in Washington about South Korea's issues, including the Korea - US Free Trade Agreement. Responsibilities include online advocacy and media relations. Work on the four-month contract began September 1. Budget, including fees, an action center, and estimated expenses, is $200,000.
Glover Park Group is providing PR counsel for the Embassy's communications and media strategy and government affairs efforts. Work on the one-year contract started September 10. The monthly retainer is $33,333.
