SUNNYVALE, CA: Juniper Networks hired David Shane as VP of corporate communications, two months after he left HP.
CMO Lauren Flaherty confirmed to PRWeek that Shane will lead all communications for the company, and will be a member of the marketing senior leadership team and the Global Marketing Council. His responsibilities will include press and analyst relations, executive communications, and developing and executing communications programs.
Shane served as VP of global corporate communications for HP until August, when he started his own consultancy. He worked for Juniper on an interim basis before starting full time on October 1. The company works with Weber Shandwick.
