NEW YORK: The Public Relations Society of America and International Association of Measurement and Evaluation of Communications have teamed-up to hasten the development of PR measurement standards.
The partnership follows the Barcelona Principles, a set of measurement and goal-setting principles ratified by PR trade organizations last summer and spearheaded by London-based AMEC. AMEC recently established a task force to brainstorm and determine the best approach and methods to measure social media strategy.
The partnership is for one year, with an option to renew afterwards.
