SAN FRANCISCO: Ogilvy PR hired two tech communications veterans, Jason Stolarczyk as SVP and Shelley Risk as VP, to expand its Western US technology practice.
Stolarczyk's resume includes leading global teams for branding, social media, PR, thought leadership and corporate events. Most recently he led communications programs at IBM and Microsoft.
Risk has more than eight years of agency experience specializing in consumer technology and social media marketing. Before joining Ogilvy she led the consumer technology/Web 2.0 practice at the Horn Group.
Both will be based in San Francisco, and will report to Dushka Zapata, EVP and head of the agency's office in San Francisco.
