STAMFORD, CT: Data security software company Protegrity USA hired the Bateman Group as its AOR for strategic communications, including messaging, analyst relations, and social media strategy.
Several tech PR firms pitched for the account, the agency said. Protegrity VP of sales operations and business development said the Bateman Group was chosen for its understanding of information technology security and creative ideas.
Bateman SVP Bill Bourdan and account manager Shannon Walsh, both based in San Francisco, will oversee the account, which will be worked out of the agency's San Francisco and Boston offices.
